We reverse searched the viral photo on Google Images. Investigation revealed that this photo was not from now but from the year 2020. We found an article related to this entire matter on a website called maalaimalar.com. This article was published on 30 August 2020. The article mentioned that BJP workers protested against Ooty Municipal Corporation for not getting space to put up the party flag. (Archive link of the article) During our investigation, we found an article from a news website named toptamilnews.com. The photo of the protest shown in this article was different from the viral photo. In the viral photo, BJP workers are seen protesting near Canara Bank.
