First understand the location of this factory. This factory is about four kilometers from Sikandra police station in Agra and one kilometer from Industrial Area police post. There are neither houses nor shops nearby. This area comes in Mohammadpur. There are 3 ways to reach this factory. These ways are from Shastripuram Gol Chauraha, Sikandra Tiraha and Industrial Area. It is clear that loading-unloading was easy from here. After reaching here, we talked to the people who were coming and going on the road. We came to know that this building was built 4 years ago. It has 2 floors and 1 basement. There is a furniture warehouse on the first floor, which opens sometimes. A medicine factory was running in the basement. A woman said- We used to think that this building belongs to some electricity department officer. He comes here sometimes. Otherwise, no one was seen here during the day. People used to come and go only at night. The factory used to remain locked during the day. People knew that it was a toffee factory. After this, we talked to the people working in the building itself. Off camera, they told that Vijay Goyal had taken the basement on rent of 30 thousand rupees per month from Udayveer of Pashchimpuri. The lease agreement was made in the name of Suraj Gaur of Ramswaroop Colony, Shahganj. Bhaskar team found a seal on the basement shutter. This building has electricity connection, but a generator is also kept there. Drug mafia Vijay Goyal, his manager Narendra Sharma and 10 others were arrested. Large quantities of allergy, stomach ache and antibiotic medicines were recovered from here. The cost of the medicines and machines recovered was reported to be around Rs 8 crore. In the initial investigation, it is estimated that Vijay has sold fake medicines worth around Rs 80 crore in 5 states. This figure can increase even more. Assistant Drug Commissioner said – medicines were being manufactured and sold without license. Assistant Commissioner of Drug Department of Agra Division, Atul Upadhyay said – information was received that the factory was running. Medicines were being manufactured and sold without license. Alprazolam (sleeping medicine), stomach ache medicine, anti-allergic, antibiotic medicines have been recovered here. Machinery has also been found. Vijay Goyal is the main accused. The powder found in the raw material has been sent to the lab for investigation. He said – the company in whose name the medicines were being prepared is being contacted. Information is being sought as to what was their relation with Vijay Goyal? Did the company know that medicines were being manufactured in their name? At the same time, DCP City Suraj Kumar Rai said that a raid was conducted in the factory in Shastripuram under the leadership of CO ANTF. Fake drugs were being made there. 10 people were arrested. Narcotics, drug department and banned drugs were also being made. Vijay Goyal has already gone to jail from Sikandra and Jagdishpura police station in a similar case. Vijay went to jail in 2023, opened the factory as soon as he came out. Two illegal factories of Vijay Goyal, a resident of Icon City, Maghtai, in Sikandra and Jagdishpura area were raided on July 8, 2023. Then fake medicines worth Rs 6 crore, Alprazolam tablets and Codeine syrup for intoxication were recovered. 40 samples of all these were sent to the lab, out of which 11 failed. Among these, Alpratase-5 MG tablets of two batches were found to be fake. It did not have the necessary elements. Narcotics powder was found in 9 samples. Vijay used to get it from China, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh. Then 7 people including Vijay Goyal and Narendra Sharma were sent to jail. In February 2024, Vijay came out of jail on bail. While Narendra Sharma was already released. 4 months after coming out, both of them opened the factory again on Zonal Park Road in Sikandra Industrial Area.
