Afghanistan-A has won the Emerging Asia Cup title for the first time. The team defeated Sri Lanka-A by 7 wickets in the final played at Al Emirates Stadium on Sunday. This is a historic victory for Afghanistan cricket. This is the team’s first title in any format of cricket or age group tournament. The Afghanistan-A team had reached the semi-finals in 2017 and 2019. This time they reached the final for the first time and also won the title.
