There was a ruckus during the hearing in the District Judge’s court in Ghaziabad on Tuesday. There was an argument between the judge and the lawyers. After this, the lawyers got angry. Chairs were thrown in the court room. The police lathi-charged and chased away the agitating lawyers. Angered by this, the lawyers vandalized the police post of the court and set it on fire. Actually, lawyer Nahar Singh Yadav had asked the judge to transfer the bail application of a person to another court. He had an argument with the District Judge regarding this matter. The dispute escalated so much that the District Judge came down from the dais. There was a heated argument between the judge and the lawyers. Meanwhile, the judge called the police and PAC. The lawyers allege that they were beaten up in the District Judge court room with the doors closed from all sides. Many lawyers have also been injured in this. Abhishek Yadav said – I am an advocate in the Supreme Court. I came to the District Court in a case. There was some issue between the lawyers and the judge sahab. The judge sahab got angry and stood on the dais and said his point. He started shouting. Then the police also came there. DCP Rajesh Kumar ordered lathicharge on the lawyers. My colleague was thrown on the ground. When I went to rescue him, I was hit with sticks from all sides. I was hit on my head, waist and legs. He said that he will get the licenses of the lawyers confiscated. He will put them in jail. Currently, there is an atmosphere of tension in the court. Police and PAC from many police stations have been deployed in the court. Two cases have been registered against 50 lawyers including the former president of the Bar Association.
