RCP Singh has announced his new party on Thursday. The party has been named ‘Aasa’. The party flag will have 3 colors. The flag will have green at the top, yellow in the middle and blue at the bottom. RCP Singh said that ‘When the Election Commission will give us the party symbol, the party logo will come in black color in the yellow part in the middle.’ He said that 140 people are already ready to contest elections from our party. Our organization will be from block level to district, state level. We will connect people to our organization through missed call. Did Nitish go to school at 5 in the morning? RCP Singh said that ‘Did Nitish Kumar ever go to school at 5 in the morning? If he has not gone, then why does he call teachers for attendance at 5 in the morning. We will change this. Alcohol prohibition is also in a bad condition in Bihar. Drug business is flourishing. People are dying due to alcohol. Home delivery of alcohol is happening. The government is silent. RCP Singh has demanded from CM Nitish Kumar that ‘a committee should be formed regarding liquor ban. Liquor ban is causing huge losses. Liquor ban has been implemented, but it is not being implemented properly. Wherever there are flaws, it should be removed by holding meetings.’ Disillusioned with BJP in one and a half years Ramchandra Prasad Singh (RCP Singh) has become disillusioned with BJP in just about one and a half years. It is being told that he has chosen this day because Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary is on this day. Patel comes from Leva Patidar caste of Gujarat, which is called Kurmi in Bihar. With RCP’s announcement of forming a new party, the profit and loss is being assessed in the political corridors. Some experts are saying that this move of RCP will cause loss to Nitish Kumar. At the same time, some are rejecting it outright. The caste of both Nitish Kumar and RCP Singh is Kurmi. The home area of both is Nalanda. RCP is experienced in party organization. RCP is launching his party a year before the Bihar assembly elections. He has been the national president of JDU, so he has a lot of experience of how a political party runs. He has also seen Nitish Kumar’s way of working very closely. When RCP and Nitish’s alliance ended, what all did the two leaders say to each other. The biggest thing is that a block level leader of JDU made serious allegations and the Bihar state president of JDU had issued a show cause notice to RCP Singh. These statements were in discussion after separation from Nitish, you people know who made him? Who brought him into politics? He was an IAS, who made him his private secretary, where did we make him, leave that matter! Nitish Kumar, CM, Bihar. September 2022 I am a bigger leader than Nitish. Will he ask about my status? Let me tell you that IAS was not made by your lobbying. He became so by his own merit and ability. When we were IAS in 1982, you were roaming on the road. So don’t ask about status. He would never have given such an exam. After doing engineering, he once gave the Navy exam, but he failed in that too. Which caste of people has he not cheated? His quarrel with Mamata Banerjee is over the Railway Ministry. Nitish Kumar has betrayed the people of Bihar not once but thrice. He has deceived them. He talks about betraying him and JDU. The people of the state know very well who the real traitor is. Today I may not be in JDU. But, a large number of workers are still standing with me at the block level. RCP Singh, September 2022 Who will he harm by forming a new party? Senior journalist Santosh Kumar says that ‘In 2005, Lalu’s special Ranjan Yadav, along with Ram Vilas Paswan, played such a strategy that Lalu Prasad suffered a lot. Ranjan was also sent to Rajya Sabha twice by Lalu Prasad. He was made the working president of the party. Therefore, there is a lot of similarity between Ranjan Yadav and RCP. At one time, Ranjan Yadav was also as close to Lalu Prasad as RCP was to Nitish Kumar. In May 2024, Lalu Prasad again got Ranjan Yadav a membership of RJD. Santosh Kumar also says that RCP’s strategy of forming a new party can also be a ploy of BJP. Political analyst journalist Ravi Upadhyay says that RCP Singh was not used in the Lok Sabha elections. He is not being used in the assembly by-elections either. RCP was a big leader in NDA. He has worked with Nitish Kumar. He understands every thing in detail, but BJP wanted to lock him in a box. Whereas, it is not in RCP Singh’s blood to lie quietly. RCP Singh forming a new party will become a cause of trouble for NDA. How can RCP cause harm? Kurmis are 2.87 percent in Bihar. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar comes from this caste. If RCP puts its Kurmi candidate against every Kurmi candidate, then there is a possibility of some loss, votes will be cut. Let us tell you, in the 2015 Bihar Assembly elections, 16 Kurmi MLAs were elected. Whereas, 9 Kurmis won the elections in 2020. This time Nitish Kumar is also facing RCP Singh and Prashant Kishore of Jan Suraj Party. It is being told that in view of all this, Nitish Kumar called a meeting of NDA and focused on coordination. Bureaucrats remained in parties but did not have the courage to form a separate party. The question arises whether a bureaucrat can run his party in a better way? Nitish Kumar has made former IAS Manish Verma the national general secretary of JDU after RCP’s separation. In Jan Suraj Party, Prashant Kishore has made former Indian Foreign Service officer Manoj Bharti the acting state president of Jan Suraj. Former IPS Anand Mishra contested the election from Buxar as an independent, but lost. Former IPS Arvind Thakur went to Jan Suraj. Former DGP Karuna Sagar from Tamil Nadu first joined RJD. But, after that he took membership of Congress. Former DGP DP Ojha and Ashok Gupta, Ashish Ranjan Sinha, Balveer Chand, former IAS K. P. Ramaiya, former DGP Gupteshwar Pandey, former IPS Sridhar Mandal remained active in politics but did not achieve any major success. BJP gave ticket to RK Singh and he was elected MP from Ara. This time he lost. He was also made a minister at the center. IAS like Yashwant Sinha, Munilal won the election and became ministers at the center. Meera Kumar even became the speaker of Lok Sabha. Former IAS Munilal was made a minister at the center. Nikhil Kumar also became an MP and Governor. Lalit Vijay Singh also became a minister at the center. Amid all this, a big name comes up is Arvind Kejriwal. Kejriwal was in the Indian Revenue Service. He left his job and came into politics. But before that he had done good work under the Right to Information. He was also quite active in Anna Hazare’s movement. RCP Singh did not create any separate identity for himself which was different from the shadow of Nitish Kumar. He was made the Steel Minister of the country, but even there he did not do any work which was discussed at the national level. After forming his new party, RCP Singh will have to prove whether he was a bigger strategist than Nitish Kumar or the strategies that Nitish Kumar was making were in many ways RCP’s policies. Whom his party will field as its candidate in the assembly elections will make it clear whether they are BJP’s B team or something else!
