All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi was campaigning in Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) on Tuesday. During this, Akbaruddin said – “The time for campaigning is 10 o’clock, it is 9:45 now, there are still 15 minutes left…” Akbaruddin said to the people who had come to the election meeting, “Hey brother, there are 15 minutes left, be patient, neither she is leaving me alone, nor I am leaving her alone. In his speech, Akbaruddin challenged the prominent leaders of Maharashtra and asked whether leaders like Sharad Pawar, Ajit Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath Shinde can guarantee their loyalty after the elections.
He asked, “Will Sharad Pawar give an assurance that he will not form an alliance with PM Modi after the elections? Owaisi said – Can Ajit Pawar promise not to return to Sharad Pawar after the counting of votes? Will Uddhav Thackeray guarantee that he will not join the BJP again? In 2012, MLA Akbaruddin from Chandrayangutta, Telangana had said – Hindustan, we are 25 crore, you are 100 crore, right? He also went to jail, but later the court acquitted him on the basis of doubt. He is a six-time MLA from Chandrayangutta, Telangana. His party is contesting elections on 16 seats in Maharashtra, for which both the brothers are currently in Maharashtra for campaigning.
