Amidst the voting and results of the US Presidential election, the Sensex closed at 80,378 today i.e. on 6 November with a gain of 901 points (1.13%). Nifty also gained 270 points (1.12%), closing at 24,484. At the same time, BSE Smallcap closed at 56,008 with a gain of 1,077 points (1.96%). At the same time, America’s Dow Jones is trading at 43,516 level today, up by about 3%. At the same time, SP 500 is trading at 5,892 level, up by about 2% and Nasdaq is also trading at 18,843 level with a gain of more than 2%. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 25 rose and 5 fell. The Initial Public Offer i.e. IPO of Swiggy Limited and ACME Solar Holdings Limited has opened. Investors can bid for both issues till November 8. Earlier yesterday, i.e. on November 5, the Sensex had recovered 1,180 points from the day’s low of 78,296. After the day’s trading, it closed at 79,476 with a gain of 694 points. Nifty also recovered 371 points from the day’s low of 23,842. It closed at 24,213 with a gain of 217 points. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 21 rose and 9 fell. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 39 rose and 11 fell. NSE’s metal sector saw the highest gain of 2.84%. Sensex trending on Google Today, Sensex closed at 80,378 with a gain of 901 points.
