Sidhu said- Those who dreamed of becoming CM are finished: Going to jail was a better time, I dedicate it to Rahul-Priyanka; will be seen in Kapil Sharma’s comedy show

Former cricketer Navjot Sidhu, who is keeping distance from politics, said that many people in Punjab dreamt of becoming the Chief Minister, but they are finished. Today, wherever I go, there is Sidhu sahab… Sidhu sahab. Sidhu was talking to a private channel. Sidhu further said that going to jail was my best time. I went to jail due to political reasons. Gandhiji, Bhagat Singh and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru went to jail. They are our heroes. No one is imprisoned in 2 days under section 323. In this section, the constable gives bail on the spot. I was also released after taking a thousand rupees. After this, the case was reopened. There, a burden was put on me. Sidhu said that even today I am dedicated to Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. I still stand by the words I had given to them. Recently, his wife Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu met Amritsar BJP leader Taranjit Singh Sandhu with daughter Rabia. After which there were talks of her return to BJP. Navjot Singh Sidhu will soon be seen in comedian Kapil Sharma’s The Great Indian Kapil Show. Navjot Singh Sidhu has shared a video on his social media account. On which he wrote – The Home Run. Not only this, he wrote on the video he shared – Sidhu ji is back. Tears came when he came to know about his wife’s cancer

Sidhu said that there was a barrack in the jail. It used to get cold there. Here I used to meditate for 16 hours. Meanwhile, I came to know that my wife got cancer. Then tears came to my eyes. If I had stayed in jail for 2 more months, something else would have happened. After this, I inquired about my wife’s diet. By the grace of God, she is fine now. Whoever has the will power to work, he will find those things. One should always think big, it is always right. Those who won did nothing for Punjab

Sidhu claimed that the BJP people did not want to break ties with the Badal family. I had differences with the BJP on many issues. Therefore, I chose Punjab. Arun Jaitley sahab was my elder brother. When Jaitley sahab came to Punjab, he advised me to contest from Kurukshetra. He also said that you will win the election by 2 lakh votes. I tried to convince him, people are very angry against them (Badals). I made Amritsar stand with my hard work. My words were not heard. My mother had told me one thing that a person who does not stand by his words, he perishes. I stand by my words even today. I fought with my government for Punjab. Many times a person loses after winning and wins after losing. Those who won, did nothing for Punjab. I kept speaking against my government. I had told Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh that the next 7 generations will remember you, if you do something for the state, but everyone was busy filling their own houses. Need of a road map to take Punjab forward
Sidhu said that I consider politics as a mission. Now it has become a profession. I exposed this business and will continue to do so. Punjab needs a proper road map to move ahead. It is important that there is a provision of proper budget for it. Those who promised to give freebies, they should tell how it will come? Those who used to say that they will earn 40 to 50 thousand crores from liquor, 10 thousand crores, 30 thousand crores from mining, where is their 60-70 thousand crores? The government is taking a huge loan every month. Punjab will have to decide who it is with?
