Bushra Bibi, wife of jailed former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, has accused Saudi Arabia of conspiring against her husband and ousting him from power. Bushra Bibi has claimed this by releasing a 29-minute video. The video has been released on the YouTube channel of the Tehreek-e-Insaf party. Earlier, Imran Khan had accused the US of ousting him from power. Reports say that Bushra’s new revelations will make it more difficult for Imran to come out of jail. In the video message, Bushra has also named Pakistan’s then Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa. Bajwa said – there is no truth in the allegations
Bushra said that in May 2021, Imran Khan made a religious trip to Saudi Arabia. During this, Imran went to Medina ‘barefoot’. After his return, General Bajwa started receiving calls. She asked Bajwa, ‘Which man have you brought with you? We want to end the Shariat system in this country and you have brought the contractors of Shariat. We don’t want this.’ Bushra said – After this, Bajwa started working against Imran Khan. Bajwa started calling Imran Khan a Saudi agent and started spreading propaganda against me. Bushra Bibi said that Imran never made this issue public but Bajwa should be questioned. His family had told this to someone which reached us. At the same time, Bajwa has denied Bushra’s allegations. In an interview to Pakistan’s ARY News, Bajwa said that all Bushra Bibi’s allegations are absurd. Bushra said – The rally of November 24 will not be stopped Bushra said that in the political environment of Pakistan, Imran Khan is like a ‘lotus flower emerging from the mud’. Imran Khan needs to be saved because the difference between these people and Khan is that they want to come to power while Khan comes to power only to please Allah. Imran Khan is trapped because he is fighting for the ‘true freedom’ of the country. Bushra said that the protest to be held on 24th will not stop. She said- This is Imran Khan’s message that every child of Pakistan should be a part of it. Bushra has appealed to everyone to reach Islamabad on 24 November. This protest will stop only when Imran Khan himself comes out of jail and appeals to the public to stop the protest. It is worth noting that Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko is reaching Pakistan on 25 November. For his security arrangements, on Thursday, Islamabad High Court has banned the PTI rally to be held on 24 November. Imran has been in jail for 474 days Imran has been lodged in Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi for 474 days in different cases. The local court of Islamabad convicted him in the Toshakhana case on August 5, 2023. After this, he was arrested from his house in Zaman Park, Islamabad and sent to jail. Later he was convicted in 2 more cases. However, Imran has been acquitted in all these cases.
