New case registered against Imran’s wife Bushra Bibi: Had given statement against Saudi; accused of inciting religious hatred and misleading the public

Several cases have been registered against Bushra Bibi, wife of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, for making statements against Saudi Arabia. Bushra was charged under the Telegraph Act of 1885 for inciting religious hatred, misleading the public and making false statements against a friendly country, Saudi Arabia. Out on bail in the Toshakhana case, Bushra had alleged that Saudi had conspired to oust her husband from power. Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif himself criticized Bushra Bibi’s statement. Sharif said that Saudi has always helped Pakistan unconditionally. Spitting any kind of venom against such a brotherly country is not forgivable. As the Prime Minister of Pakistan, I want to tell that the country will break any hand that tries to weaken the Pakistan-Saudi friendship. Imran Khan defended his wife After this statement of Shahbaz Sharif, several cases were registered in Dera Ghazi Khan, Gujranwala, Multan, Rajanpur and Muzaffarnagar districts of Punjab. However, Imran Khan, who is lodged in Adiala Jail, defended his wife, saying that she did not mention Saudi Arabia at all in the video. On Friday, Bushra’s 29-minute video was released on the YouTube channel of the Tehreek-e-Insaf party. This video heated up the political atmosphere of the country. After which many leaders and ministers of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) said that strict action will be taken against those trying to spoil Pakistan-Saudi relations. Accused former army chief Bajwa too In the video, Bushra Bibi also named Pakistan’s then army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa along with Saudi. Bushra said that in May 2021, Imran Khan had made a religious trip to Saudi Arabia. During this, Imran went to Medina ‘barefoot’. After his return, General Bajwa started getting calls. She asked Bajwa, ‘Which person have you brought with you? We want to end the Shariat system in this country and you have brought the contractors of Shariat. We don’t want this.’ Bajwa has denied Bushra’s allegations. In an interview to Pakistan’s ARY News, Bajwa said that all Bushra Bibi’s allegations are absurd. Tehreek-e-Insaf has called for a big protest in Islamabad on November 24. Imran Khan’s party Tehreek-e-Insaf is going to hold a big protest in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad on November 24. Regarding this, Bushra said that the protest to be held on the 24th will not stop. She said – This is Imran Khan’s message that every child of Pakistan should be a part of it. Bushra has appealed to everyone to reach Islamabad on November 24. This protest will stop only when Imran Khan himself comes out of jail and appeals to the public to stop the protest. It is worth noting that Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko is arriving in Pakistan on 25 November. For his security reasons, the Islamabad High Court on Thursday banned the PTI rally scheduled for 24 November. Imran has been in jail for 474 days Imran has been in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail for 474 days in different cases. The local court in Islamabad convicted him in the Toshakhana case on August 5, 2023. After this, he was arrested from his house in Zaman Park, Islamabad and sent to jail. Later he was convicted in 2 more cases. However, Imran has been acquitted in all these cases. After his release in the fake marriage case on July 13, he was arrested in the Toshakhana Case-II case.
