Most sixes in a year of Test Yashasvi Jaiswal has reached the first position in terms of hitting the most sixes in a single year of Test cricket. He has 34 sixes in 2024. Before him, this record was in the name of former New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum, who hit 33 sixes in 2014. 2. Bumrah equaled Kapil Dev’s record Jasprit Bumrah took 5 wickets in Australia’s first innings in the Perth Test. He achieved a 5-wicket haul for the 11th time in Test cricket. With this, Bumrah became the Indian bowler to take the most 5-wicket hauls in SENA (South Africa, England, New Zealand, Australia) countries. Bumrah took 5 or more wickets 7 times in SENA countries. He reached the top with Kapil Dev in this record of Indian players. 3. Australia’s lowest score against India On the second day of the Perth Test, Australia’s first innings were all out for 104 runs. He reached the top among Asian bowlers, after him Pakistan’s Wasim Akram has taken wickets at an average of 24.11.
