Kartik Aryan made his Bollywood debut in 2011 with the film Pyaar Ka Punchnama. Before this, he had struggled a lot to get a break in the film world. However, Kartik’s family did not know this. After getting the offer for his first film, Kartik called and gave this good news to his mother. On one hand, while he was crying with joy, on the other hand, his mother panicked after hearing about his entry into films. She even requested the film’s director Luv Ranjan to remove Kartik from the film. So that he could focus on his studies. In a conversation with Galata India, Kartik’s mother Mala Tiwari said, ‘He (Kartik) called me after his selection. He was crying with joy. He said- Mummy, I lied to you. I came to Mumbai to enter films. To this I said- I sent you to complete your degree and settle down in life, why would you come to films? I also started crying. Then he said- why are you crying. On this I said, I am crying because what did that director see in you?’ Mala Tiwari said, ‘Two days after this news, I went to meet director Luv Ranjan. I asked him just one question – son, why did you choose my son out of everyone in the world? Let’s keep this between us and please remove my son from the film. But he refused to accept my condition. Kartik’s mother had given him permission to work in films only on the condition that he will complete his engineering degree and keep his promise. Kartik was recently seen in the film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. This film of horror comedy genre has performed well at the box office.
