Hezbollah chief Naeem Qasim addressed the people 3 days after the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon. According to Reuters, Qasim said that Hezbollah has won over Israel and this victory is even bigger than the victory in 2006. 18 years ago, a war between Hezbollah and Israel lasted for 34 days. About 1200 Lebanese citizens were killed in this. Qasim said that we have won this war because we have stopped Hezbollah from being destroyed. Hezbollah chief said – Those who were betting that Hezbollah will become weak, their bet has failed. Hezbollah brought the enemies to their knees and forced them to compromise. Qasim also mentioned the pager attack in September and said that Israel hoped that it would destroy the organization by attacking Hezbollah’s command system, but this could not happen. After this, Hezbollah started attacking Israel’s domestic front, due to which Israel came into defensive mode and agreed to ceasefire. Hezbollah Chief said – will try to maintain ceasefire
Qasim praised Hezbollah’s spirit of not accepting defeat and said that they will try to maintain ceasefire along with the Lebanese army. Hezbollah Chief said – We have approved this agreement with our heads held high. Its purpose was the withdrawal of Israeli army from all parts of Lebanon south of the Litani River. We were firm on this from the beginning and Israel was forced to accept it. A ceasefire deal was signed between Israel and Hezbollah on November 27. America and France had mediated for this. Under this agreement, Israeli soldiers will withdraw from South Lebanon and Hezbollah will also withdraw from there. Netanyahu had given 3 reasons for the ceasefire Netanyahu had said that Hamas was trusting Hezbollah. They were sure that Hezbollah fighters would fight with them, but now they are left alone. Now the pressure on them will increase. This will help in freeing our hostages. However, Netanyahu had also said that if Hezbollah tries to attack Israel near the border, builds infrastructure in this area, digs tunnels or brings trucks carrying rockets to this area, then it will be considered a violation of the agreement. Lebanese people started returning home after the ceasefire. After the Israel-Hezbollah war ended, thousands of people have started returning from southern Lebanon to northern Lebanon. However, the Israeli army has issued a warning to people in 60 villages of southern Lebanon not to return. The Israeli army said that those who are returning are risking their lives. Earlier, the Israeli army had also advised Lebanese citizens not to return home in view of security. However, despite the appeal of the armies of both the countries, its effect is not visible on the people. Thousands of families left their homes and took refuge in southern Lebanon after Israel’s deadly missile attack on 23 September. Since Wednesday morning, thousands of people were seen returning to Sidon, Ghaziyeh and Tyre cities in southern Lebanon on bikes and vehicles. Israel has eliminated Hezbollah’s top leadership Israel had eliminated its top leadership even before starting the ground operation in Lebanon. The biggest name in this was Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah. Israel attacked Beirut in Lebanon with 80 tons of bombs on 27 September. Nasrallah was killed in this attack. Apart from Nasrallah, his successor Hashim Saifuddin was also killed by Israel in an attack on 8 October. ————————————– Read this news related to Israel and Hezbollah too…..
