Sensex closed at 80,248 with a gain of 445 points: Nifty also rose 144 points, all sectors except FMCG and PSU banks saw gains

On the first trading day of the week today, i.e. 2 December, the Sensex closed at 80,248 with a gain of 445 points (0.56%). Nifty also rose by 144 points (0.6%), it closed at 24,276. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 21 rose and 9 fell. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 31 rose and 18 fell. At the same time, there was no change in 1 stock. Earlier on Friday, i.e. 29 November, the Sensex closed at 79,802 with a gain of 759 points (0.96%). Nifty rose by 216 points (0.91%), closing at 24,131. At the same time, BSE Smallcap rose 417 points (0.76%) and closed at 55,199. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 26 rose and 4 fell. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 43 rose and 7 fell. In NSE’s sectoral index, all closed with gains except realty and PSU banking sector.
