Jaishankar said- India is not the same now: Earlier no action was taken on 26/11 attacks, we responded to Pakistan with Uri and Balakot

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar spoke on many issues including India’s defense policy in a private program. He said that India is no longer what it used to be. No action was taken on the 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai in 2008. We responded to Pakistan when Uri and Balakot attacks took place. Speaking in NDTV’s program, the Foreign Minister said – India is now a country that can do something (can-do nation). Whose youth have faith in their capabilities. This is the generation that is increasing India’s respect from scientific achievements to infrastructure and high technology. We have a strong decision-making PM S Jaishankar said that this is a very special time as the Indian Foreign Minister. I have worked with many governments in my life. Now we have a strong decision-making PM for the modernization of India. If we look at his decisions, it is a very special time. It is an honor for me to be a part of it. Now is not the time where Indian people were satisfied with the basic things. The most important thing is that we have become an India in which there is more India. Now Indians hope to become a developed India. Jaishankar said that now India’s success is not limited to the elite class or big cities. Today our politics, civil services, sports and journalists cover every part of the country. Our democracy has also succeeded in creating equal opportunities for the people. Jaishankar said – Today our trade has increased from 40 billion dollars to 800 billion dollars. Indians now expect to become a developed India. This is a view that was not so strong till a decade ago.
