World Chess Championship- Liren makes a comeback, defeats Gukesh: Score tied at 6-6 after 12th game, only 2 games left now

Indian Grand Master D Gukesh has faced defeat in the 12th game against China’s Ding Liren. Defending champion Liren was defeated in the 11th game. He now won with white pieces. After the 12th game, the score in the World Chess Championship final was tied at 6-6. Gukesh is 1.5 points away from becoming the champion. Till Sunday, after 11 games, Gukesh was ahead 6-5. 8 out of 11 games were draws, while Gukesh won 2 and Liren won 1. Now Liren won the 12th game and equalized the score again. Now only 2 games are left in the 14 game final. To become the champion, the player will have to reach 7.5 points. Tuesday is a rest day, there will be no game on this day. The remaining 2 games of the final will be played between the two players on Wednesday and Thursday. If the result is not decided even after 14 games, then a tie breaker will be used.
