Fake News Expose: Claim of UP Police breaking CCTV in Sambhal is false; Viral video is from anti-CAA protest in Delhi

A video is going viral on social media. In the video, some policemen are seen breaking CCTV cameras. It is being claimed that this video is from Sambhal, where UP police had broken CCTV cameras before the violence. Khan Sir parody account wrote in its tweet – We have not seen Kashmir Files but Sambhal Files is live. Police officers can be clearly seen, how they are breaking the cameras installed in the houses. The mobiles of these policemen should be checked, then we will know who caused the riot and why. To verify the claim, we reverse searched the key frames of the video on Google Images. Investigation revealed that this video is not from Sambhal but from the anti-CAA protest in Khureji in north-east Delhi in 2020. During the investigation, we found a report published on The Quint on 26 February 2020.
