Vidarbha captain Karun Nair has become the first batsman in the world to score the most runs in List-A (ODI) cricket without getting out. He scored 542 runs in 5 matches played in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25. 33-year-old Nair played five matches against Chhattisgarh, Chandigarh, Tamil Nadu, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh. Of these, he scored a century in four except Chhattisgarh. The last match was played against Uttar Pradesh on Friday at Vizzy Stadium in Andhra Pradesh Vijaynagar. Karun Nair is the second Indian to score a triple century in Tests after Virender Sehwag. Nair scored an unbeaten 303 against England in Chennai in 2016. He has been out of Team India since 2017. Karun played his last Test in 2017 against Australia in Dharamsala. Before him, Virender Sehwag has scored 300+ runs in Tests. Sehwag scored 304 runs against Pakistan in Multan in 2004 and 319 runs against South Africa in Chennai in 2008.
