Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja recently told many interesting things related to Govinda in an interview. She told that when she met Govinda for the first time, she was a tomboy, and that is why Govinda used to call her a boy. Sunita also told that both of them live separately. Talking to Hindi Rush, Govinda’s wife Sunita said, ‘We have two houses. There is a bungalow in front of our apartment. I have my temple and my children in the flat. We live in the flat, while he (Govinda) gets late after his meetings. He likes to talk, so he will gather 10 people and talk to them. While I, my son and my daughter live together. But we talk less, because I feel that if you talk too much, you are wasting your energy. Sunita also told that Govinda is always working and he does not have time for romance. She said, ‘I have told him that in the next life he will not become my husband. He does not go on vacation. I am a person who wants to go out with my husband and eat pani-puri on the streets. He spent too much time working. I don’t remember a single instance when both of us went out to watch a movie.’ Sunita told that the affair rumours during the peak days of Govinda’s career did not affect her. She said, ‘Earlier it did not affect me. But now, when he is 60 years old, I am scared. When he was young, he used to work so much that he did not have time for an affair, but now I am scared because he sits idle, who knows what he might do.’ Govinda has married his wife Sunita twice. Govinda is the only actor who remarried his own wife Sunita after 18 years of marriage with full rituals. Actually, Govinda’s mother Nirmala Devi wanted him to remarry at the age of 49. To fulfill his mother’s wish, Govinda did exactly the same. He remarried his wife Sunita Munjal on 11 December 2015.
