The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards will celebrate its silver jubilee in Jaipur on 8 and 9 March. This year’s theme has been kept as ‘Silver is the new gold’. Bollywood stars have started arriving in Jaipur for the award ceremony to be held at Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center (JECC). Actress Madhuri Dixit and Nusrat Bharucha reached Jaipur late on Thursday evening. Madhuri told the media at the airport that I have an old relationship with IIFA. I always feel proud to come to this event. This time it is happening in Jaipur, so I am more excited. Nusrat Bharucha said – I am very excited about IIFA this time. IIFA will organize a special dialogue session titled ‘The Journey of Women in Cinema’ dedicated to International Women’s Day at 8:30 pm on Friday. In this, Madhuri Dixit and Oscar winning producer Guneet Monga will share the stage together. This dialogue will be conducted by IIFA Vice President Noorin Khan at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Mansarovar.
