Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgan, Tiger Shroff and Vimal Kumar Agarwal have been summoned by the Jaipur Consumer Court. Vimal Kumar Agarwal is the chairman of JB Industries, a company that manufactures Vimal Pan Masala. It is alleged that people are being lured to buy Vimal Pan Masala in the name of saffron, while it does not contain saffron at all. Common people are getting confused in the name of saffron. This notice has been issued on the complaint of Jaipur lawyer Yogendra Singh Badiyal. District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (Consumer Court) chairman Gyarsi Lal Meena and member Hemlata Agarwal heard the case on March 5. The next hearing date has been fixed for March 19 at 10 am. The court has said that if you fail to appear in person or through your authorized representative, a unilateral decision will be taken. Complainant Yogendra Singh Badiyal claimed – The advertisement says that every grain has the power of saffron. Due to this, JB Industries is earning crores of rupees. Common people are regularly consuming paan masala. It is harmful for health and is causing serious diseases like cancer. The complainant said – the public is suffering losses. Yogendra Singh Badiyal has demanded action against the manufacturing company and the people involved in the promotion of the product for spreading misinformation and cheating the general public. Due to false publicity and propaganda, the health of the general public is being adversely affected. According to Badiyal, the manufacturer and the people involved in the promotion are separately and indirectly responsible for this. The complainant has demanded a fine on the accused, ban on advertisements and paan masala with immediate effect in the interest of justice and the general public.
