Nora Fatehi, who has become a sensation across the country with songs like Dilbar, Saki-Saki, has revealed that many directors made her shoot songs for free. The actress has revealed that directors do make her shoot songs by promising to cast her in films, but later disappear. Nora Fatehi said in an interview to BBC Asia Net, “Now I have stopped being sensitive. I used to cry earlier, but now I have stopped crying for things. I used to get hurt by rejection, gossip, not getting work. But suddenly I have realized that all this does not matter to me. If you say no to me, do not give me work, then I will find an opportunity for myself.” The actress further said, “I have resources, I can talk, I am smart. I do not need anyone else to do this. I have stopped relying on people, agencies, directors and producers.” Some come to me and say, hey, will you sing a song for my film as a favor, we promise to cast you in our next film.
