Raj-Uddhav can come together again after 19 years: Raj Thackeray said- differences are small, Maharashtra is a big deal; Uddhav said- there is no fight from my side

Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray may come together again in Maharashtra. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray hinted at this on Saturday. Raj Thackeray said – We have political differences, disputes, fights, but all these are very small things in front of Maharashtra. Coming together for the benefit of Maharashtra and Marathi people is not a big problem. Raj Thackeray said this on the YouTube channel of actor and director Mahesh Manjrekar. Mahesh Manjrekar had questioned Raj on his alliance with Uddhav. On this, Raj Thackeray said that the fights between us are small in front of a big goal. Here Uddhav’s reaction has also come, he said that there was never any fight from my side. Raj resigned from the party on 27 November 2005 after Uddhav was declared successor in Shiv Sena. After this, he formed his own party ‘Maharashtra Navnirman Sena’. Then the relationship between the two was not good. In the interview, Raj Thackeray talked about Shinde, BJP and Shiv Sena… 1. It is not a matter of personal interest Raj Thackeray said, “I don’t think it is very difficult to come together and stay together. The question is only of willpower. It is not a matter of my personal wish or self-interest. I believe that we should look at the bigger picture of Maharashtra. I believe that Marathi people from all political parties of Maharashtra should come together and form a party.” 2. On the question of Shinde, he said – I will not work under anyone else On the matter of Eknath Shinde coming to power and objection, Raj said, “First of all, Shinde’s departure or the split of MLAs became a separate part of politics. When I left Shiv Sena, many MLAs and MPs came to me, but I had only one thing in my mind that if I leave Balasaheb, I will not work under anyone else. This was the situation at that time.” 3. Had no objection in working with Uddhav He said, “When I was in Shiv Sena, I had no objection in working with Uddhav. The question is, does the other person want me to work with him? I never bring my ego into such small matters.” 4. Said on going with BJP – Can’t say what will happen in politics When Mahesh Manjrekar questioned him on going with BJP, Raj Thackeray said, “Whatever I can say or do about Maharashtra or for Marathi people, I will do it. My coming with BJP will be political, but my thinking does not match their thinking. However, one cannot say what will happen in politics. Everything changes in politics. Everything is happening so fast here that you cannot tell what will happen when.” Performance of both fell in 2024 assembly elections
The performance of both Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray’s parties was very poor in the 2024 assembly elections. While Uddhav’s UBT party got only 20 seats, Raj Thackeray’s MNS could not even open its account. Now know how the rift happened between Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray. Raj Thackeray is active in politics since 1989. In 1989, Raj Thackeray was the president of Shiv Sena’s student wing, Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, at the age of 21. Raj was so active that within 6 years from 1989 to 1995, he made countless tours to every corner of Maharashtra. By 1993, he associated lakhs of youth with himself and Shiv Sena. The result was that Shiv Sena had a strong ground network in the entire state. In 2005, Uddhav started dominating Shiv Sena. Till 2002, Raj Thackeray and Uddhav were handling Shiv Sena. In 2003, the party convention was held in Mahabaleshwar. Balasaheb Thackeray told Raj – ‘Make Uddhav the working president of the party. Raj asked, ‘What will happen to me and my people?’ By 2005, Uddhav had started dominating the party. His influence was visible in every decision of the party. Raj Thackeray did not like this. Raj Thackeray left the party, announced MNS
On 27 November 2005, a crowd of thousands of supporters gathered outside Raj Thackeray’s house. Here Raj told the supporters, ‘My fight is not with my Vitthal (Lord Vithoba), but with the priests around him. There are some people who do not understand the ABC of politics. That is why I am resigning from the post of Shiv Sena leader. Balasaheb Thackeray was, is and will remain my God.’ On 9 March 2006, in Shivaji Park, Raj Thackeray announced his party ‘Maharashtra Navnirman Sena’ i.e. MNS. Raj called MNS the ‘Party of Marathi Manus’ and said – this party will rule Maharashtra. ———————————————– Read this news related to the Thackeray family… Bal Thackeray used to call Muslims ‘green poison’: When the party was handed over to the son, the nephew rebelled, how Shinde snatched Shiv Sena It was just a year since the Shiv Sena party was started.
