Former Pakistani minister raised questions on Adnan’s citizenship: Singer got angry, replied to his ex and said- ‘illiterate fool’

After the Pahalgam attack, tension has increased once again between India and Pakistan. India has given an ultimatum to Pakistani citizens to leave the country. Meanwhile, former Information and Broadcasting Minister of Pakistan Fawad Chaudhary has raised questions on the citizenship of singer Adnan Sami. Actually, an Indian journalist on X wrote about the decision of the Center after the Pahalgam attack, in which Pakistani citizens have been asked to leave India. Reacting to this development, Fawad Chaudhary wrote, ‘What about Adnan Sami?’ The singer has now reacted to this. Adnan shares Fawad Chaudhary’s tweet and writes – ‘Who will tell this illiterate fool.’ Along with this, he has put a laughing smile. Let us tell you that Adnan was born in England. Adnan’s father Arshad Sami Khan was Pakistani and his mother Noorin Khan was from Jammu. Adnan had Pakistani citizenship earlier. The singer got Indian citizenship in December 2016. He had to wait for 18 years for Indian citizenship. Talking about Adnan’s career, he started with an English album in 1986. His first classical album with Ustad Zakir Hussain came in 1981. In 2000, Adnan made the album ‘Kabhi To Nazar Milao’ with Asha Bhosle. After that, he made hit albums like ‘Lift Kara De’, ‘Kabhi Nahin’ with Amitabh Bachchan. His second studio album, Tera Chehra, was released in October 2002. Talking about films, he has given many hit songs like Sun Zara in ‘Lucky: No Time for Love’ and Bhar Do Jholi Meri from ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. Apart from this, he has also sung in films like ‘Yeh Raste Hain Pyar Ke’, ‘Dhamaal’, ‘1920’, ‘Chance Pe Dance’, ‘Mumbai Salsa’, ‘Khubsoorat’, ‘Sadiyaan’ and ‘Shaurya’.
