An uncontrolled truck hit a car in Gopalganj. A Supreme Court lawyer died in the accident. The incident took place near Mangalpur bridge in Jadopur police station area. The deceased has been identified as Pawan Prakash Pathak (32), a resident of Pune. His wife Richa Shandilya and car driver Akhilesh Singh were seriously injured. Both the injured have been admitted to the emergency ward of Sadar Hospital. Pawan was married to Richa Shandilya (30) of Bettiah two months ago. After completing the Donga ritual on Thursday, they were going to Gorakhpur in a rented car. From there they had to go to Delhi by bus. The wife is also a Supreme Court lawyer.
