The ashes of Shubham Dwivedi of Kanpur, who was killed in the Pahalgam attack, were immersed in Sangam. During the immersion of ashes, wife Aishnya kept holding Shubham’s photo to her chest. She would cry at times. Family members were seen consoling her. Seeing her moist eyes, the priest conducting the rituals also became emotional. On Saturday morning, the family members paid tribute by offering flowers on Shubham’s photo. After this, as soon as Shubham’s cousin picked up the urn of ashes, wife Aishnya screamed. She ran and caught the urn of ashes. At 7:30 in the morning, the family left for Sangam in three vehicles from Kanpur with the ashes. Aishnya sat in the vehicle holding the urn of ashes in her hand. A big poster of Shubham was put up in the same vehicle. Tributes were paid to Shubham at 4-5 places on the way. The family reached Prayagraj at 12:30. On 17th April, Shubham went to Kashmir with Aishnya and 11 family members.
