Shubham’s wife kept crying while holding his photo to her chest: Pandits conducting rituals in Prayagraj became emotional; ashes immersed in Sangam

The ashes of Shubham Dwivedi of Kanpur, who was killed in the Pahalgam attack, were immersed in Sangam. During the immersion of ashes, wife Aishnya kept holding Shubham’s photo to her chest. She ran and caught the urn of ashes. At 7:30 in the morning, the family left for Sangam in three vehicles from Kanpur with the ashes. Aishnya sat in the vehicle holding the urn of ashes in her hand. A big poster of Shubham was put up in the same vehicle. Tributes were paid to Shubham at 4-5 places on the way. The family reached Prayagraj at 12:30. On 17th April, Shubham went to Kashmir with Aishnya and 11 family members. They were to return home on 23rd April, but on 22nd April at 2.45 pm, terrorists attacked them in Pahalgam’s Baisaran valley. Shubham was shot in front of Aishnya.
