Fraudster of Rs 1.91 lakh arrested in Hisar: A resident of Delhi, who deceived people by promising waiver of annual credit card charges

Hisar Cyber Police Station has arrested the fraudster in the name of waiving the annual charge of credit card. Two accused have already been arrested in the case. The youth caught now is the main accused. Police is investigating the matter. According to the information, the accused has been identified as Yogesh, a resident of Uttam Nagar, Delhi. According to investigating officer ASI Sandeep, Yogesh used to call people and lure them to get the annual charge of credit card waived. Two accused have already been arrested in this case. Gyanendra Pratap of Ludhiana and Brijeshpal of Delhi Dwarka used to work on commission. Saved himself as a bank employee The incident is of 13 September 2024. The accused introduced himself as a credit card counter care employee of IndusInd Bank. By luring the complainant with the annual charge waiver, he got him to log in to the bank’s app on his phone. After this, he got him to click on a special option. Immediately, Rs 99 thousand 618 and Rs 91 thousand 486 were deducted in two separate transactions. The total amount of fraud of Rs. 1 lakh 91 thousand 105 was first transferred to the account of Gyanendra Pratap. Later this amount was sent to the bank account of Brijeshpal. When the victim told about the money being deducted, the accused disconnected the call saying it was a process.
