Vikram Gaikwad, who was the makeup artist of dozens of films like Aamir Khan’s Dangal, Omkara, 3 Idiots, died on Saturday. 65-year-old Vikram died due to blood pressure related problems. He was admitted to Hiranandani Hospital 3 days ago. His last rites were performed at Shivaji Park crematorium in Dadar. Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh and Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde have also condoled Vikram’s death. Aamir has written on social media, it is very sad to say goodbye to a legendary makeup artist Vikram Gaikwad. I have had the privilege of working with him in films like Dangal, PK, Rang De Basanti. He was a master of his art and with his work he has transformed many actors and created memorable characters, which will live on screen.
