Actor Suraj Pancholi is making a comeback to Bollywood after four years with the film Kesari Veer. Akanksha Sharma will also start her acting career with this film. The story of Somnath temple will be shown in the film. Apart from Suraj Pancholi and Akanksha Sharma, Sunil Shetty and Vivek Oberoi will also be seen in important roles in the film. Recently, Suraj and Akanksha had a special conversation with Dainik Bhaskar. He said that we got a chance to work in this film, it is a matter of pride for us. Question- You are making a comeback in films after four years. How are you feeling about this moment and what are your emotions? Answer/Suraj- I am really feeling very good. I am making a comeback in films after a long time. The film is fine, but the thing that I missed the most was the promotion phase. Meeting people, talking, that atmosphere. I really missed all this a lot. I am very happy to return to the same place once again. How did you get the offer for this film and what were your feelings at that time? Answer/Suraj- The film’s producer Kanu Chauhan sir had come to our house. I had gone to Somnath a few days before his arrival, so I had good knowledge about the history of Somnath. When I was told that I have to play the role of a warrior, I was very happy. It was my dream to play the role of a warrior sometime in my life. So I am very happy to get this opportunity. You have played the role of a warrior in the film. Your personal life has also been no less than a warrior. In such a situation, how challenging or special was your comeback? Answer/Suraj- To be honest, I was getting film offers earlier also, but I was just waiting for the right film and the right time. Then that opportunity also came. At the right time. I believe that every good thing happens at its fixed time. So this comeback was very special for me and I thank God from the bottom of my heart for this. You are making your Bollywood debut with the film Kesari Veer. How was your experience? Answer/Aakanksha- This film is very special for me. My experience was very good. I consider myself very lucky that I got a chance to play such a character in my very first film, which is not just based on looks or dance, but on a role with depth. In such a situation, I have tried my best to play my character honestly. How much does your character ‘Rajal’ in the film match with your real life nature? I am very shy in real life. If we talk about similarities, then there is a lot of similarity between me and the character Rajal, because there is a warrior hidden inside every human being, who fights many challenges in everyday life. I have also fought many battles in my life and those experiences inspired me to play this character. What were you doing when you were away from films? I just used to eat and sleep. Apart from this, I was focusing on myself and trying to keep myself fit. Most importantly, I was waiting to return to films. Nowadays many films are being made in Bollywood on history and culture. Which are also becoming hits. Recently ‘Chhava’ was released. Your film is also based on history. Do you think your film will benefit from this? Answer/Suraj- Not much is taught about our brave warriors in schools and neither are many books available on them. In such a situation, this film Kesari is a small tribute from our side to the heroes. To those heroes who sacrificed for the country and stood up to protect the people. Answer/Aakanksha- This is really a small effort on our part to honor a warrior. We all have made this film with all our heart, hard work and love. We do not know how this film will perform at the box office and to be honest, we did not even think much about it. But yes, everyone associated with the film has worked very hard in it. What would you like to say about the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam? Answer/Suraj- Whatever happened in Pahalgam is very sad and painful. But we are confident that our government and our soldiers are present there with full strength and are working continuously to keep us safe. They are our real Kesari Veer. Answer/Aakanksha- Such incidents are definitely heartbreaking, but India has never remained silent in the face of such attacks. We have responded and will continue to do so. How was it working with Sunil Shetty? Did you learn anything from him? Answer/Sooraj- I really enjoyed working with Sunil sir. I also learned a lot from him. Sunil sir’s daughter, Athiya, was my first co-star. It is said that the person you work with for the first time is always special, Athiya is also like that for me. During that time I met Sunil sir, and since then till today he has always inspired me. Answer/Aakanksha- Working with Sunil sir was a very special experience for me. It felt like I was working with my father. He always takes great care of the people around him, especially me. There was a scene in our film which was based on real life and at that time I became very emotional. In such a situation, he guided me how to perform that scene. Would you like to tell something about your next projects? Answer/Aakanksha- I consider myself very lucky that I got a chance to work with many big stars of Bollywood. I have done a song with Tiger and have also worked with Badshah. Now I am debuting in films with Sooraj. In the coming days, my film Tera Yaar Hoon will be released, in which Aman Indra Kumar will also be seen. Answer/Sooraj- Right now my full focus is on the film Kesari Veer, which is going to be released soon. At present, I am focusing only on this project. Let’s see what new comes in the coming time.
