American military expert John Spencer has said that India has achieved its strategic objective through ‘Operation Sindoor’. He said that this operation was not started with the aim of occupying PoK or changing the power in Pakistan. The expert said that Operation Sindoor is not over yet. Some people may call it a ceasefire, but this is not a pause. At present, India has achieved a big victory. According to Spencer, India neither knocked on the door of the United Nations nor warned Pakistan like before. India directly sent fighter planes and carried out a precise attack. He said that through this operation, India has taken its strategy against terrorism to a new level and has also given a clear message to Pakistan that terrorism will be answered with war.
John Spencer is the chairman of the Modern War Institute. He said that the Indian Air Force carried out a precise attack on 9 targets in Pakistan on May 7. This destroyed important terrorist camps in Pakistan and PoK. He said that India did not take action just for show but attacked with full planning and thought. Through this action, India gave the message that now a terrorist attack from Pakistani soil means a direct war.
India showed that it is not afraid of nuclear threat Spencer said that India’s action shows that India is no longer afraid of nuclear threat. India will carry out a precise attack on the terrorist bases developing under the guise of nuclear blackmail. He said that more than a retaliation, it was the declaration of a new doctrine, which clearly stated that India will no longer accept terrorism and talks together. Blood and water cannot flow together. This is India’s new doctrine. India is now engaged in preparing for the upcoming war, not the old one. According to Spencer, Operation Sindoor was carried out in several phases. 7 May – Precise attacks were carried out on 9 locations in Pakistan. The targets included places like Bahawalpur, Muridke, Muzaffarabad. Terrorists were trained here. 8 May – Pakistan carried out large-scale drone attacks in the western states of India, but India’s air defense system neutralized almost all of them. 9 May- India attacked 6 Pakistani military airbases. 10 May- Ceasefire was declared. However, India did not clearly call it a ceasefire. India only stopped firing. According to Spencer, this was not just a military victory, but a well thought out plan was successfully executed amidst the shelling. This also gave major strategic benefits. 1. New red line drawn Now India has made it clear that if there is a terrorist attack from Pakistan, then the military will respond. This is not just a threat, but an example of what has happened now. 2. Demonstration of military superiority India showed that it can attack any location of Pakistan. Be it a terrorist camp, a drone base or an airbase. At the same time, Pakistan could not enter India anywhere. This was not an equal fight. India’s strength was seen to be very high. 3. Strong reply to PAK India gave a strong reply, but avoided a major war. It gave the message to the world that India will not sit silent, but will also keep the situation under control. 4. Handled the problem alone India handled this crisis on its own without any foreign help or pressure. Whatever steps India took, it took in its own way and on its own terms. This is India’s real and changed policy. India got a decisive victory from Operation Sindoor Spencer writes that ‘Operation Sindoor’ was not about occupation or change of power. It was a short-term war fought for a specific purpose. Critics say that India should have gone further, but they forget that strategic success is not measured by any big destruction, but by political impact. Spencer writes that India’s restraint is not weakness, but maturity. Today’s wars often turn into occupation or political complications, but Operation Sindoor was different. It was an organized military strategy. India accomplished its goal in a very short time. Operation Sindoor was a modern war, the whole world was watching it. It was fought with a nuclear threat and a limited objective and it was completely a strategic success and a decisive Indian victory. John Spencer’s articles have been regularly published in American newspapers The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Foreign Policy, Defense One. He is regularly seen sharing his views as a military expert on news channels like CNN, MSNBC, BBC and FOX. ———————- Read this news too – See the devastation in Pakistan due to Operation Sindoor in satellite images: 9 terrorist hideouts destroyed in 24 minutes; these included camps of Jaish, Lashkar and Hizbul India carried out air strikes in Pakistan and PoK at 1:05 am on Tuesday-Wednesday midnight. 9 terrorist hideouts were targeted in this, in which more than 100 terrorists were killed. 10 family members and 4 associates of terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Maulana Masood Azhar were killed in the attack.
