A Singapore court found an Indian tourist guilty of molesting a 12-year-old girl at a swimming complex and sending her obscene messages on Instagram. Pramender is accused of following the 12-year-old girl to the toilet of Jalan Besar Swimming Complex on March 31. He accessed the victim’s Instagram account from her phone and followed his account. After this, he sent 13 obscene text messages to the victim, after which the victim informed the lifeguard on duty about the incident. Finally, the girl’s mother filed a complaint against the accused with the police, after which he was arrested on April 2. There is a provision of 3 years’ imprisonment for molestation of women.
