Gautam Adani’s company Adani Defense and Aerospace will make anti-submarine warfare (ASW) systems for the Indian Navy. For this, a deal has been made with the US company Spartan. Till now India was dependent on foreign imports for this system, but with the Adani-Spartan partnership, this technology will be developed in the country itself. This will increase the ability to detect, track and destroy submarines. It consists of a sonar buoy device that uses sonar waves inside the sea. It is an important part of the Navy’s Undersea Domain Awareness (UDA) strategy. ASW systems will be developed in India Adani Enterprises Vice President Jeet Adani said the Indian Navy needs integrated, mission-ready ISR and anti-submarine warfare capabilities. This includes important systems like sonar buoy. These systems will be developed indigenously. This initiative will promote technology ‘designed, developed and manufactured in India’. Adani Defence CEO Ashish Rajvanshi said, “For decades, India was dependent on imports for such important technologies. This partnership will connect global level sonar buoy technology to Indian defense. Adani Defense is also making UAV drones Adani Defense and Aerospace is also manufacturing UAV drones in factories in Uttar Pradesh. Drones working with the help of AI technology are included in the fleet of the Indian Army. Along with reconnaissance of the enemy, these drones are capable of destroying their hideouts. Adani Group is spending about Rs 3 thousand crore for this manufacturing plant spread over 500 acres in Kanpur Defense Corridor. Here weapons are being made in the field of counter drone, intelligence-reconnaissance technology and cyber defense. The company will make ammunition for the armed forces, paramilitary forces and police.
