Justice BR Gavai reached Mumbai for the first time on Sunday after becoming the Chief Justice of India. The Chief Secretary, DGP and Mumbai Police Commissioner did not come to receive him. CJI Gavai said, ‘I do not want to talk about such minor issues, but I am disappointed that the senior officers of Maharashtra do not follow the protocol.
