Shalini Pasi’s designer mistake at Cannes 2025: She was seen in a blue gown similar to the dress worn by the German model two days ago

This time at the Cannes Film Festival 2025, social media personality Shalini Passi spread her charm on the red carpet. Shalini, who became an example of style and elegance, was seen in a beautiful blue gown. The gown that Shalini wore was by designer Noor Fathallah. This dress was a part of her own wardrobe. However, the surprising thing was that two days ago, German model Selina Weil had also worn the same gown on the Cannes red carpet, but Shalini carried this dress in such a style that everyone’s eyes were fixed on her. However, questions are being raised that when the German model wore a similar dress two days ago, then how did Shalini’s designer make such a mistake? The event took place at Cannes-Mandelieu Airport
Shalini was seen in a beautiful blue gown at an event held at Cannes-Mandelieu Airport. Which was hosted by Caroline Scheufele of the famous brand Chopard. Shalini also shared a glimpse of this evening on Instagram and wrote, “Stepping into the heart of the dazzling world of @chopard, a memorable evening organized by Caroline Scheufele at Cannes-Mandeleu Airport, where cinema, fashion and stars came together. From the elegance of midnight blue to the diamonds of Chopard, the celestial magic shone in every detail.” Also wore Manish Malhotra’s gown

Shalini Passi got popularity from the Netflix series ‘Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives’. After this, she became very popular on social media. Shalini also wore a custom-made blue gown designed by Manish Malhotra at Cannes 2025. The specialty of this gown was its mermaid shape and tapering corset. This dress was inspired by the famous artist Paresh Maiti’s ‘Longitude 77’ series, which depicts the journey from the Himalayas to Kanyakumari in India. In this look, Shalini wore a strapless, navy blue gown. With this, she paired a multi-coloured skirt which was dramatic and voluminous. Talking about accessories, she wore a simple necklace and bracelet, which kept all the focus on the dress. Her hairstyle was her signature sleek bun and she was carrying a beautiful Judith Lieber clutch. Shalini had said in a press interaction, “I am hoping that I get a chance to meet Sharmila Tagore ji and Simi Garewal ji. I am very excited to see Satyajit Ray’s film.” In her other looks, she also wore a pink gown by Fuad Sarkis and an ivory pantsuit by Z by Monica-Karisma.
