Trupti Dimri will be seen opposite Prabhas in director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film ‘Spirit’. After Deepika Padukone’s exit from the project, now the makers have officially announced the name of Tripti Dimri. The actress has also confirmed this on her Instagram. After being included in the film, Tripti wrote on her Instagram – ‘Still can’t believe it. Very grateful to be included in this journey. Thank you Sandeep Reddy Vanga. I feel honored to be a part of your vision.’ Tripti has previously worked with Sandeep Reddy in ‘Animal’. This film made her popular across the country. Because of ‘Animal’, she also got the tag of National Crush. This will be the first time that Tripti Dimri and Prabhas will share the screen together. Talking about the film, its pre-production work is going on at this time. The shooting of the film will start soon. Sandeep’s first choice was Deepika Padukone. Let us tell you that earlier the shooting of this film was to be done at the end of the year 2024, but the shooting was postponed due to Deepika’s pregnancy. After becoming a mother, Deepika refused to do the film due to her busy schedule. But Sandeep wanted Deepika only, so he changed the schedule according to her, after which Deepika agreed to do the film. Just a few days ago, the news came that Deepika Padukone has been given a fee of Rs 20 crore for ‘Spirit’. Demands like eight-hour shifts, hefty fees, share in the profit and not speaking dialogues in Telugu were made from Deepika’s side. Deepika became a mother in September 2024, so she wanted an eight-hour shift for just 5 days a week. Sandeep was not happy with all these demands of the actress, after which he removed Deepika from the film.
