Social media platform X (formerly Twitter) faced an outage for about 3 hours for the second day due to technical fault in the data center. Services were down from around 5.30 to 8.43 pm on Saturday evening. Users across the world, including India, faced problems in using key features including login, signup, posting and viewing, as well as premium services. X was also down for a few hours on Friday. Login and signup services are not available for some users and premium services may be delayed.’ 25,000 complaints of X down in America According to Downdetector, a platform that gives real-time status of websites and online services, X users complained of it being down between 5.30 pm and 8.43 pm. The highest number of 2258 complaints were registered at around 6.23 pm. At the same time, according to Reuters, complaints of social media platform being down were received in the US at 8:39 am. There, more than 25 thousand complaints were registered. 55% people are facing problems in the app According to Downdetector, many users of X around the world faced problems in accessing and refreshing posts on both web and app versions. About 55% people had problems using the app. At the same time, 22% people had problems in logging in and about 23% said that they had problems with web connection.
