Process of making KCC card 1. Check eligibility: Individual or joint farmers, whether they are owners or tenant farmers. At the same time, those who do animal husbandry or fisheries can also apply for KCC. Only farmers between 18 to 75 years can get these cards made. 2. Required documents: Any one of the documents like Aadhar card, PAN card, voter ID, driving license will be required for identity proof. At the same time, documents like Aadhar card, ration card, electricity bill will be required for proof of address. Apart from this, Khatauni, Jamabandi, or Rent Agreement of the field will be required. 3. Select a bank: Any of the banks involved in the KCC scheme, such as State Bank of India (SBI), Punjab National Bank (PNB), regional rural banks, or cooperative banks, issue this card. Choose a bank where you already have an account or one that is easily available in your area. 4. Fill the application form: Visit your nearest bank and ask for a KCC application form. Many banks have the forms available on their websites. Some banks also accept KCC applications through their online portals. 5. Processing time: Usually, KCC is issued within 15-30 days of submitting the application, provided the documents are complete and there are no issues. If you are enrolled under the PM Kisan Yojana, the process may be faster.
