During Operation Sindoor, India has caused heavy damage to Pakistan. The Pakistani Air Force has suffered the most damage. ANI has reported in a report quoting officials associated with Operation Sindoor that the Pakistani Air Force was helpless during India’s attack. It could not understand how to defend the attack. In Operation Sindoor against Pakistan, the Indian Air Force used air-launched cruise missiles, long-range weapons and different types of loitering weapons. Defense sources told ANI that the Indian Air Force carried out very precise attacks in Pakistan for four consecutive days. Pakistan has suffered so much damage due to this attack that it will take at least 5 years to recover. India attacked PAK air defense first. The biggest battle between India and Pakistan took place on the night of 9 and 10 May, which lasted till the afternoon of 10 May. During this time, India targeted airbases built in different areas of Pakistan. During this time, India gave the message that it can go anywhere and Pakistan cannot stop it. The Indian Air Force had decided that the first step would be to destroy Pakistan’s air defense system. It was deployed along the entire border of Pakistan, it included old American and Chinese radar systems and HQ-9 surface-to-air missiles acquired from China, which had a range of more than 250 kilometers. The Indian Air Force attacked radar stations in Pakistani Punjab and used Harop and Harpy drones to destroy them. India destroyed about four to five radar stations and the launcher of a Chinese missile system. After the air defense system was destroyed in a big city like Lahore, the surveillance capability of the Pakistan Air Force decreased significantly. India started its attack on Pakistan on the night of 6 and 7 May, starting with attacks on terrorist hideouts. India attacked terrorist hideouts in Pakistan. These hideouts also included areas like Bahawalpur and Muridke in Pakistan’s Punjab state. In response, on the evening of 8 May, Pakistan tried to attack India’s air defense system. It used Turkish and Chinese drones, but it did not succeed. India’s air defense was fully active and every weapon was ready, from small arms to large air defense systems. These weapons caused a lot of damage to Pakistan’s drones. The Indian Army also kept the Pakistan Army badly engaged on the other side of the border using heavy guns and rocket launchers and caused great damage to it. India’s attack caused loss of contact with the control center On May 9, the Indian Air Force took aggressive action and attacked Pakistan’s Chaklala, Sargodha and Murid airports. The command and control centers (C2 centers) present at these bases were destroyed. India targeted these bases with three major weapons – these include the world’s fastest supersonic cruise missiles, Rampage and Scalp. Fighter aircraft like Mirage, Rafale, SU-30 and MiG-29 have been equipped with these missiles in the last few years. The destruction of all three C2 centers caused the Pakistan Air Force to lose contact. There was no contact between their aircraft and ground stations. This dealt a serious blow to their Air Force and they were unable to decide anything. PAK missiles fell on Indian soil without exploding According to sources, the quality of the weapons used by Pakistan was very poor. Some missiles fell on the ground without exploding, which were later found by the local people and handed over to the Indian Army. On the morning of May 10, the Indian Air Force attacked again. It targeted airports near Sargodha, Rafiki, Rahimyar Khan, Jacobabad, Bholari and Karachi. The purpose of these attacks was to stop Pakistan from taking decisions and put it in a state of confusion. India carried out these attacks from its own territory, in which long-range precision weapons were used. The missiles fell directly on their targets and caused massive destruction. A hangar was targeted in Bholari, which had some fighter planes of the Pakistan Air Force and an airborne radar aircraft. This attack was so powerful that Pakistan has not been able to start removing the debris from there till now. The runway of an airbase in Punjab was also attacked, due to which no plane could take off from there for 8 hours. These attacks were monitored by India’s satellites and Aerial Warning System (AWACS) aircraft. Operation Sindoor sent a message to the terrorists At the very beginning of Operation Sindoor, India’s top leadership had given a message to the army that the attacks should be so strong that the supporters of the terrorists in the Pakistani army get a clear message. It was made clear to the army from the beginning that they should not be satisfied with only mild or low-impact attacks. They were given the freedom to work with full force. Pictures of the destruction caused by the missiles appeared on social media and Pakistani networks. It is clearly visible how the missiles enter through a small hole in the roofs and completely destroy the buildings inside. A similar example was also seen in the Jaish-e-Mohammed building, which was targeted by the Indian Air Force in the 2019 Balakot attack. There too, there was a small hole in the roof, but there was a lot of destruction inside. The special weapons used by the Indian Air Force had the ability to identify and monitor targets on their own. The video footage recovered from these weapons has been shown to the top officials of the army and the government, which confirms the success of the attack. Satellite images of the damage caused to the airbase This airbase is about 200 kilometers away from the international border. India targeted the hangar of Jacobabad airbase. The hangar is the place where the aircraft is repaired and maintained. This picture of May 11 shows that the hangar has been damaged and debris is lying near it. In the old picture of April 30, the structure looked fine. This is Pakistan’s new airbase which was started in 2017. India attacked the hangar of Bholari airbase during the strike, causing major damage to its roof. In the satellite photo of April 27, this hangar looked completely intact. This airbase is in Sindh province and is operated by Pakistan’s Southern Air Command. The pictures of May 10 clearly show that the structure has suffered heavy damage and debris is spread around. There is burnt grass and black marks on the ground near it, which is probably caused by the fire after the attack. This airbase is between Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Rawalpindi is the headquarters of Pakistan’s military and Islamabad is the political center. India had also targeted it in the 1971 war. Many buildings are seen destroyed in satellite images. In the pictures of April 25, all the buildings were in good condition. This airbase is in Pakistan’s Punjab province and is about 200 kilometers south of Bahawalpur. Bahawalpur is the same place where India carried out the first strike of Operation Sindoor on May 7. Air Marshal AK Bharti showed a video of the damage to the runway of this airbase in a press conference. In the satellite photo, a big crater is visible on the side of the runway, which is caused by the strike. This airbase is strategically very important for the Pakistan Air Force. It is west of Lahore and about 200 kilometers from the Punjab border. The Indian Air Force had also targeted it in the wars of 1965 and 1971. In Operation Sindoor, India targeted the runways at two places – one at the intersection and the other the main runway. In the pictures of May 10, big pits are visible on the runways at both places. The difference can be clearly seen in the pictures of April 30 and May 10. ……………………………………………… Read this news related to Operation Sindoor too… Satellite PHOTOS of destroyed airbases of Pakistan: After the drone attack, India had carried out airstrikes on Pakistani airfields; Runways and buildings destroyed India attacked many airbases of Pakistan under Operation Sindoor, in which runways, hangars and buildings were damaged.
