Union Home Minister Amit Shah said in Kolkata on Sunday – Mamata Banerjee is opposing Operation Sindoor and Waqf Amendment Act to please the Muslim vote bank. He said – The Government of India is creating a safe, transparent and evidence-based criminal justice system. He said that it is important that those who prevent crime should be two steps ahead of the criminals. Our criminal justice system is entering a new era. The central government implemented three new criminal laws – the Indian Justice Code (BNS), the Indian Civil Defense Code (BNSS) and the Indian Evidence Act (BSA) in July 2024. Earlier in 2020, the first National Forensic Science University (NFSU) was established. Shah said that 8 such institutes have already been established across the country. There is a plan to establish eight more. We have helped every state to set up forensic vans in every district.
