In Palwal, miscreants threw a DTC bus driver off a moving train after looting him. He remained lying near the railway line the whole night. In the morning, GRP and his family reached the spot on the information of passersby. The seriously injured driver was first taken to BK Hospital and then admitted to a private hospital in Palwal. GRP is investigating the incident. According to GRP station in-charge Rajpal, Deepak, a resident of Chhachhera village of Nuh district, said that he is a bus driver in DTC Kalka Depot Delhi. He lives in a rented room near Lal Chowk in Delhi. On May 29, he boarded the EMU local shuttle from Palwal railway station at around 10:20 pm to go from his village to Delhi. As soon as the train left Palwal station, four youths boarded the same compartment and sat around him. After Ballabhgarh station, they asked him for a beedi, which he gave. After some time, they asked for a phone, which when he refused to give, they snatched his phone and purse after Faridabad station. The purse contained Aadhar card, HDFC Bank ATM card and Rs 5,800 in cash. Deepak said that after this the miscreants pushed him out of the moving train near Budkhal flyover. Due to the fall, he suffered serious injuries in his legs, head, eyes and other parts of the body. He remained lying there the whole night. The next day passersby informed the GRP and family members. GRP investigation officer SI Chetram said that on the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered against four unknown youths under various sections including attempt to murder. CCTV footage of railway stations is being scanned to identify the accused.
