After the murder of Indore’s transport businessman Raja Raghuvanshi in Shillong, his wife Sonam was found in Ghazipur, UP on Monday, June 9. Sonam’s father Devi Singh told that the society’s Bhandara is held on the day of Ram Navami. On the same day, the names of marriageable boys and girls are taken, so that they can be published in the society’s introduction booklet. We also got our daughter’s name registered on the same day and so did Raja’s family. At that time we did not know each other. When the booklet was published, we saw the information of all the boys. Raja’s mother Uma Raghuvanshi said, we got a call from Sonam’s family. They came to our house. They found the relationship right and called us to see the girl. It was a completely arranged marriage. According to Raja’s mother, Sonam stayed here for 4-5 days after marriage. After that she went to her maternal home. There was no problem in her behavior. There was no talk of going to Shillong at home after marriage. Sonam had talked about going on a trip, but Raja had refused. Later Raja said – ‘Sonam has booked the ticket, what should I do now?’ It was a tour of six-seven days, so I also told her to go.
