Artificial intelligence company OpenAI’s popular chatbot ChatGPT went down globally on Tuesday (10 June). Thousands of users around the world are unable to use this AI platform. Most of the complaints about ChatGPT being down have been registered by users from India and the US. According to real-time monitoring platform DownDetector, users in India have been reporting ChatGPT being down since 12 noon. More than 800 users from India have registered complaints around 3:00 pm. At the same time, more than 1,000 users in the UK and the US have reported it being down. Users are getting error messages on ChatGPT Users using ChatGPT are seeing error messages like ‘something has gone wrong’ and ‘there is a problem with the network’. Apart from this, error messages like please check your connection and try again are also being received. OpenAI said – We are investigating the problem OpenAI confirmed the outage on its status page, saying that API, ChatGPT and Sora are down. Users are facing high error rate and latency on AI platforms. We are currently investigating the problem. However, the company did not say how long it might take to fix the problem.
