Congress’s 4 questions to PM Modi: Asked- When will the Prime Minister meet the leaders of political parties, when will he take them into confidence

Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh on Wednesday asked 4 questions to PM Modi. Which includes questions about holding an all-party meeting, forming a review committee on Operation Sindoor, 2-day discussion during the monsoon session and efforts made to catch the terrorists of the Pahalgam attack. Ramesh said – It is okay for the PM to meet 51 MPs of 7 delegations who returned from a visit to 32 countries. This is his privilege and it is not a surprise. But we have only four easy questions. We want the PM to answer these questions. Congress targets the government on MANREGA Congress said on Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MANREGA) – The central government is working on ‘how to end MANREGA in three easy steps’. Ramesh shared a screenshot of a media report on X. It claimed that for the first time the government has capped expenditure under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) at 60 percent of its annual allocation for the first half of the financial year 2025-26. Ramesh told how the central government is ending MNREGA in 3 phases. Phase I: Not giving enough funding to MNREGA for a decade, due to which the wage rate remained stagnant and the amount of pending payments kept increasing. Which has reached Rs 21,000 crore at the beginning of this financial year. Phase II: Implementing the Finance Ministry’s Monthly/Quarterly Expenditure Plan, under which a limit has been set to spend only 60% of the total budget of MNREGA in the first six months of the financial year. Phase III: When there is no scope of budget left after settling pending payments, almost stop giving work to MNREGA beneficiaries. Ramesh said – First and second steps have been implemented Ramesh said that the central government has implemented the first and second steps. The third step is now going to come soon. He said that MNREGA wages should be increased to Rs 400 per day. Aadhaar Based Payment Bridge System (ABPS) should not be made mandatory. Wages should be paid within the statutory period of 15 days and any delay in payment should be compensated. Jairam had said – Shah’s claim of peace in Kashmir-Manipur is baseless Jairam Ramesh on June 10 had called Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s claim of establishing peace in Jammu and Kashmir and the Northeast bizarre. He had said that Shah’s claims about peace in Jammu and Kashmir-Manipur are absurd and baseless. These claims have actually been made to divert attention from his own big failures. He had said that Manipur is still burning. The law and order situation here is bad. President’s rule in the state has proved to be a complete failure. The plight of everyday life and livelihood of the common people has caused pain, despair and anger in them. Which can be felt everywhere. Read the full news… ………………….
