Environment Minister of Delhi’s BJP government Manjinder Singh Sirsa reached Chandigarh Bharatiya Janata Party office today i.e. Wednesday. Where he discussed many important issues. Manjinder Singh Sirsa said- Ever since our government was formed in Delhi, our government has been working continuously in Delhi. Today, there is a government in Punjab which ruined Delhi for 10 years. The same party is engaged in ruining Punjab. Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa further said- First Delhi was looted by Aam Aadmi Party with both hands and now Punjab is being looted. Our government took an important decision in the cabinet meeting held yesterday i.e. Tuesday. Which I want to make the public aware of. In view of the 350th martyrdom day of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib, a grand event will be organized under the supervision of Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. This event will be organized on the martyrdom day to be held in the month of November this year. A two-day program will be held on Martyrdom Day at the Red Fort. Manjinder Singh Sirsa further said- Earlier, the governments of Delhi did not do anything about the martyrdom of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib and he was ignored. In view of this important day, our government will organize this two-day gathering at the Red Fort in Delhi. Information about the martyrs and a light and sound show will be done in the said show. So that people can be made aware of the history of Sikh Gurus. Sikh history will be taught in all the institutions of Delhi. Sirsa further said- This will not be limited to the said place only, but information about this history will also be given in schools, colleges and other institutions. Also, in view of the 350th Martyrdom Day, a commendable step has also been taken by Delhi University. This is a course brought by Delhi University, in which the history of Sikhs will be explained in detail. Punjab government should also teach the history of Sikhs in institutions – Sirsa Manjinder Singh Sirsa said- Just like the Delhi government has taught this history in all its institutions, we want that the Punjab government should also teach this history in Punjab. Not only government institutions of Punjab, but private institutions should also teach this history. A forest is being built in Delhi, which will be dedicated to Shri Guru Teg Bahadur ji.
