Actress Sunny Leone is the mother of three children, but the journey of becoming a parent was not easy for Sunny and her husband Daniel Weber. Recently, the actress told that she had to face many ups and downs before reaching the dream of starting a family. In actress Soha Ali Khan’s podcast, Sunny said that initially her plan was to manage her career as well as the family. Therefore, she thought that for the time being the child should be done through surrogacy. In America, she got her eggs frozen and made six embryos. There were four girls and two boys in them. Sunny told that we always thought that first there would be a girl, but it did not succeed, four girls died due to medical problems. She said that we had four daughters and two sons, but everything was not well. One day the surrogate said that she was pregnant, but later it was found that the sac was empty, there was no child. Sunny told that then we changed the doctor and I have two embryos, which were two boys. At that time, we also applied for adoption because the process of IVF and surrogacy can be frustrating when things don’t go right. It can also become a very long process. I came to know within a week that four embryos would not survive. Sunny further said that Daniel and I were emotional support for each other. We did not tell anyone anything. We wanted to understand this problem ourselves first. He is very supportive and both of us had the same thinking about having a child. These events shocked her and her husband deeply. Sunny said, “We used to think whether we did something wrong? Does God not love us? Why is this happening? And why can’t we adopt a little girl?” Sunny adopted daughter Nisha in 2017. In difficult times, she chose the path of adoption. Sharing the memory of daughter Nisha, Sunny said, “At the time when we had lost four girls, we applied for adoption. We tell Nisha that she chose us. She made us parents. She was 18 months old, but looked like a one-year-old girl. As soon as I saw her, I felt this is my daughter. The connection happened immediately.” Sunny and Daniel adopted Nisha in 2017. A year later, their twin sons Noah and Asher were born through surrogacy. This way, the family of both of them became complete. In the interview, Soha asked Sunny how much surrogacy cost. To which Sunny replied, “We paid fees every week. Her husband also got money to take leave. That is, he got money for that too. We spent a lot of money. She bought a house and her wedding was very grand.”
