Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan became emotional after watching the trailer of his grandson Agastya Nanda’s upcoming film “21.” He penned an emotional note for Agastya on social media. Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “Agastya! When you were born, I held you in my arms. A few months later, I held you again, and your tiny fingers played with my beard. Today, you are making your mark in theaters all over the world. You are very special… My many prayers and blessings are with you. May your work always make you and our family proud.” The film, directed by Sriram Raghavan, is a war drama based on the true story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. Arun Khetarpal was India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra recipient, who displayed exceptional bravery in the 1971 Indo-Pak War. Agastya Nanda plays Arun Khetarpal in the film, which will be his first theatrical release. He previously appeared in Zoya Akhtar’s “The Archies,” which was released on Netflix. Akshay Kumar’s niece will make her Bollywood debut with the film “21kk.” Akshay Kumar congratulated Simar on Instagram, writing, “My little Simi is no longer little… From home performances to the big screen—my heart is filled with pride! Simar Bhatia and Agastya, your screen presence is amazing. Best wishes to the entire team of ’21kkk’.” As soon as the trailer for “21kkk” was released, Agastya Nanda was praised on social media. Meanwhile, some people trolled Agastya on the issue of nepotism. One user wrote, “Brother, you’ve made it a whole family business! Hey, there’s so much talent in India… Why do you always choose all the actors from Juhu and Bandra? Who will care now… God bless.” Another user wrote, “Nepotism is at its peak!” “Ekkis” is produced by Maddock Films, which was previously known for its horror-comedy films. However, the company has now transitioned to war dramas. “Ekkis” will be the fourth major film in this genre in 2025, following “Sky Force,” “Chava,” and “Tehran.” The film also stars Dharmendra, Jaideep Ahlawat, Sikander Kher, Shri Bishnoi, Ekavali Khanna, and Mohan Godara in pivotal roles. The film is scheduled to release in theaters in December 2025.
