Kejriwal offered prayers at the Hanuman Temple in Connaught Place; Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh were also present; yesterday he was acquitted in the Delhi liquor policy case.

Former Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal offered prayers at the Hanuman Temple in Connaught Place, Delhi. He was accompanied by his wife Sunita Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, AAP MP Sanjay Singh, and other leaders. A day earlier, Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court had acquitted 23 people, including Kejriwal and Sisodia, in the CBI case related to the Delhi liquor policy. Kejriwal also held a press conference at the AAP office yesterday evening. He stated that PM Modi and Amit Shah conspired against him. “When they couldn’t defeat the AAP, they set out to destroy it,” he said. “I have earned only honest money in my life, and this has been proven in court.” The allegation is that a scam occurred in the 2021-22 excise policy in Delhi. During Kejriwal’s government, irregularities occurred in the granting of licenses and setting margins in the new liquor policy, which benefited some private businesses. The policy was later withdrawn. The accused in the CBI case have been acquitted. The ED case is currently pending in court. 5 photos of worship at Hanuman Temple… Kejriwal may be acquitted in the ED case as well. In August 2022, based on the CBI chargesheet, the ED also filed a case in this matter. The ED case is also currently under trial. There is speculation that the acquittal of Kejriwal and others in the CBI case could lead to their acquittal in the ED case as well, as the ED’s case has now weakened. 4 key takeaways from the Rouse Avenue Court: The court acquitted all 23 accused, including Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia. It stated that the thousands of pages of the chargesheet contained numerous flaws and that the allegations made therein were not substantiated by any witness or statement. The chargesheet contained contradictions that undermine the entire theory of the alleged conspiracy. The court also ordered a departmental inquiry against the CBI’s investigating officer (IO). Regarding the excise policy: There was no overarching conspiracy or criminal intent in the formulation of the excise policy. The prosecution’s (CBI) case does not stand judicial scrutiny. The CBI attempted to fabricate a conspiracy theory, but its theory was based on mere conjecture rather than concrete evidence. Regarding Kejriwal: Kejriwal’s name was linked without any concrete evidence. When the case involves a person holding a constitutional position, making accusations without solid evidence is against the principles of law. Regarding the main accused, Kuldeep Singh: While acquitting the main accused, it was stated that it was surprising why he was named as the first accused, despite the lack of concrete evidence against him. Regarding Manish Sisodia: Sisodia was accused of being responsible for formulating and implementing the liquor policy, but the court stated that no evidence of his involvement was found, nor were any recoveries made against him. Kejriwal stated, “I have earned only respect and honesty in my life.” On Friday, Kejriwal stated that he had earned respect and honesty in his life. He had not earned a single penny, and these people wanted to harm that very thing. Therefore, they hatched a conspiracy. Today, the court clarified that Kejriwal, Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, and the Aam Aadmi Party are staunch advocates of honesty. “My family suffered greatly because of this conspiracy,” he said. My mother went to the hospital and cried profusely. Sisodia’s wife is seriously ill. Due to the conspiracy of Modi and Shah, 30 million people in Delhi are suffering. My challenge is: Hold elections in Delhi today. If the BJP wins more than 10 seats, I will quit politics. The former CM said that many people ask why Kejriwal has become silent after coming out of jail. Leaders don’t care because they have thick skin. But I am not a leader. It does matter to me. Stones were thrown at my family, it does matter to me. Kejriwal said, “Today a huge burden has been lifted from my heart. At one time, the top five leaders of AAP were in jail, but they could do no harm. Now, they can only control Kejriwal by getting him murdered. These people cannot control Kejriwal without getting him murdered.” Anna Hazare said, “Kejriwal should work for the country.” Social activist Anna Hazare has said that Arvind Kejriwal should now work for society and the country, not think about himself or the party. He said that our country runs on the strength of the judiciary. The judicial system is the supreme authority of the country. Our country is a large country with many political parties, castes, sects, and religions, and yet it is running smoothly only because of the judicial system. He said that without a strong judiciary, criminal elements will dominate and a riot-like situation will arise in the country. Whatever I said about Arvind Kejriwal’s involvement in this case was before the judiciary’s decision. He said that at that time, allegations were in the air. Now the judiciary has given its verdict that he had no role in this wrongdoing. We have to accept this decision. Now the court has given its verdict. In our democracy, we must respect the judiciary. ………………….. CAG Report on Delhi Liquor Policy – Loss of Rs 2026 crore: Kejriwal government did not seek LG’s approval on decisions, irregularities in licenses; bribes to politicians. Last year, the CAG (Comptroller and Auditor General of India) report on Delhi’s liquor policy was leaked. It stated that the government would suffer a revenue loss of ₹2,026 crore. The report also alleged significant irregularities in the liquor policy, including flaws in licensing. Furthermore, AAP leaders were allegedly benefited through bribes. Read the full story…
