Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna were married on Thursday in Udaipur. The wedding rituals were performed according to Telugu customs. Rashmika wore jewelry based on the “Living Goddess” theme, while Vijay’s necklace featured a tiger design. Vijay and Rashmika’s outfits for the wedding were designed by designer Anamika Khanna. While pastel colors have been more prevalent in celebrity weddings in recent years, this wedding featured darker, more traditional colors. The pastel trend in weddings means choosing lighter, softer colors instead of traditional dark colors (like bright red, deep maroon, or orange). Gold jewelry and temple-themed designs were a key focus at Vijay and Rashmika’s wedding. Both wore nazar tikas on their cheeks.

The highlight of Rashmika’s saree: Rashmika wore a rust-colored saree at the wedding. The saree had a red and gold border and was embroidered with patterns inspired by temples and ancient architecture. The design reflected the cultural identity of Hyderabad. The saree featured antique gold hand embroidery. The actress paired it with a heavy gold-worked blouse, draped over a light beige veil. The entire look was a traditional bridal style, with special attention paid to the embroidery and motif placement. Rashmika’s jewelry was also exceptional. The actress wore 11 custom gold jewelry pieces inspired by South Indian temple architecture. The theme was “Living Goddess.” Her outfit and jewelry were designed to reflect the aura of a divine goddess. The jewelry utilized nakshi work and rava granulation techniques, giving it an antique matte finish. She wore a long haram with a choker featuring Goddess Lakshmi. The jewelry also included earrings, a mathapatti, a nose ring, armlets, waistbands, bangles, hathphool, champasaralu, anklets, and jadabellas. The entire jewelry set reflected the traditional temple style. Vijay Deverakonda wore a dhoti, while Vijay Deverakonda wore an ivory silk dhoti. He paired it with a vermillion-colored angavastram. The border of the angavastram was embroidered with forest and temple motifs. Her look was inspired by Hyderabad’s textile heritage, using the Vanasingaram weave. The cream and red color scheme was clearly visible.

She also wore traditional gold jewelry. This included a long pearl-studded necklace, a small chain, gold stud earrings, armlets, bracelets on both hands, rings, a waistband, and gold anklets. Alta, or mehendi, was also applied to her hands and feet, adding to her traditional look. Overall, both of their outfits were simple and culturally grounded.
