PM launches projects worth ₹7,100 crore in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry; speaks in Madurai about Tamil Nadu’s significant contribution to a developed India; offers prayers at a temple in Tirupparankundram

PM Narendra Modi arrived in Puducherry and Tamil Nadu on Sunday. He inaugurated infrastructure projects worth over ₹2,700 crore in Puducherry and ₹4,400 crore in Tamil Nadu. He also inaugurated eight newly built Amrut Bharat railway stations and three new All India Radio FM relay transmitters in Tamil Nadu. Modi then addressed a gathering in Madurai. Modi stated, “Tamil Nadu will play a decisive role in shaping the nation’s future. Our collective goal is a developed Tamil Nadu for a developed India.” The PM then visited the Arulmigu Subramaniya Swamy Temple in Thiruparankundram, Madurai. He offered prayers and prostrated himself before the temple priests. The temple priests presented him with a picture of the deity.
