Sammy’s Entertainment’s new Bollywood film, Jai Hind Jai Sindh – A Love Story, is an emotional story set against the backdrop of India’s partition. Directed by Indrajit Lankesh and produced by Sammy Nanwani, producer Sammy Nanwani and actor Vikram Kochhar spoke with Dainik Bhaskar about the film. Producer Sammy Nanwani expressed his desire to show the film to PM Modi. During the conversation, Nanwani was asked if the film would also depict the migration and contributions of people from Sindh. He said that Sindh is a part of the film, but the story is much bigger than that. According to him, the film showcases India’s diversity and unity. He said that while we speak different languages, eat different foods, and look different, we are still united at heart and live together. Sammy added that the film will enhance India’s image, just as Hollywood films brought recognition to America globally, this film will also enhance India’s image. Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that India’s global presence is stronger than ever before, and the Prime Minister plays a major role in this. When asked if he would like to show the film to Prime Minister Modi, Sammy said that this would be his first step. He added that he would definitely like to meet the Prime Minister and express his pride. Vikram’s emotional character: Regarding his role in the film, Vikram Kochhar said that his role is unique. He plays a Punjabi man settled in Goa who marries a foreign woman. His character is emotional and understands the language of love. The film also conveys the message of love. The film stars Mahesh Manjrekar, Jaya Prada, Zarina Wahab, Vikram Kochhar, Rahul Dev, Chhaya Kadam, Upasana Singh, Amit Behl, Ajit Shidhaye, Rajveer Singh, Akaisha Vats, and Ehsaan Khan. Gaurav Dingra and Jhanvi are also making their Bollywood debut with this film. The film is currently in post-production and will be released nationwide in mid-2026.
